It was the new girl, Leslie, who invented Terabithia- a secret country in the woods beyond the dry creek bed.

Boy Overboard By Morris Gleitzman
Jamal and his sister Bibi try to save their Mum and Dads lives and also the life of football. After their Mum's secret school was discovered, the government try to kill them by blowing up their house and killing them. All because the law says that nobody can play football. They make a quick dash out of the country and get smuggled into Australia. Will they make it and have a happy life or be captured and killed? Its up to you to find out!

Novel Studies
During our Literacy sessions until the end of term we will be doing novel studies. The 5 books that we will read and study are:
As a class we are also reading and discussing Skellig by David Almond. Every week we will complete an activity based on the book and spend some time sharing our ideas with the whole class.
