World War Two Mini Inquiry
Over the last couple of weeks you have been finding out about the events of World War Two.
What have you found out so far? What do you want to find out more about?
Hey everyone, So far I have found out that the war was horrible and people would risk their lives to help jews or prisoners that had escaped.What I want to find out more about is....? Probably how it all started like how Hitler got control at the start,and how he forced or recruted those people to work for him.Also why did he only want people with blonde hair and blue eyes?Did he think that something bad would happen if the world wasn't perfect?To me I think that it was a pretty stupid rule as he did not have blonde hair or blue eyes,but quite the opposite!!! Thanks
Hey, I (Liv)have found out that the Gestapo were the secret German police who worked for the Nazi. I (Emma) have found out that Nancy Wake was called the white mouse and that she was at the top of the wanted list because she was fighting the Nazi.
I (Liv) want to find out more about the propaganda posters. I (Emma)want to find out more about Nancy Wake and how World War 2 started.
Hi! I know that there were concentration camps and lots of people died. Hitler and the Nazis started the war. I want to find out more about why Hitler started the war and what it was like living in those times. Did the war stop when Hitler died?
I found out that there were 194,000 NZ soldiers, with 11,625 of them KIA, and 17,000 wounded. Also there were 19,069,700 civilians killed in WW2. -David
i found out that Aldolf Hitler shot himself, poisoned his wife and told his dog handler to shoot his dog and her pups. - Joshua
Hey, I have found out that people who lived through the war lived through destruction of their homes and sometimes the death of their families. I want to find out generally more about the war. For example; Why did Hitler hate lots of people? How did Hitler get people to fight for him? What do you know about the World War 2?
Yea it is pretty fun learning about WW2. We are now doing an essay on it. We have to have an introduction, three ideas(like the bombing, the different jobs the men and woman had and evacuation), and we have to have a conclusion. Emma

Me and my group studied Chamberlain's broadcast declaring war, some WW2 propagandas, some World War 2 themed songs and a lot more!
